Liquid soap: are they better than bar soaps?

Today, liquid soap products have been entering the mainstream. For several reasons, a liquid soap is the one that is opted rather than bar soaps. In fact, research revealed that forty-five percent of the consumers chose and purchased this more.

Food stores are, almost certainly, the primary retail channels of the liquid soap, getting 52 percent of the units.

The liquid soap was patented on the 22nd of August 1865. William Sheppard is the person behind the patenting of this cleansing product. It was the Minnekota Corporation who introduced the first contemporary liquid soap that was labeled as SOFT SOAP. This was the brand name tagged to the first modern soap, in liquid form.

The Minnekota penetrated the market of liquid soaps through accreditation of the whole plastic pumps supply. These pump supply equipments were the main requirements to make a liquid soap cleanser.

In the year 1987, the company of Colgate acquired the liquid soap business acquired the market of liquid soap from Minnekota Corporation.

They say that liquid soaps provide better convenience than the bar soaps. Why is this so? Both actually give the same health advantage. You can still display a thorough personal hygiene using either of the two.

What is essential is that your soap, be it liquid soap or made of bar have neutral odors since soaps that have heavy scents are added with additives, which will potentially lessen the positive results of cleansing. Bar soaps just have more options when it comes to scents, than the liquid soaps.

You should also be aware that in bar soaps where moisture is often left, there is a big chance for bacteria growth to occur. With liquid soaps, all you have to do is pump it straight from its container that protects it from being soaked in the water or used by a lot of people.

Liquid soaps are better to use in public restrooms where the place is shared with a crowd. The soaps must not be shared with other people. Bar soaps can also add soap scum to the shower that will cause clogging, while liquid soaps do not.

However, liquid soaps are just quick to consume because you have no control as to how much amount you will pump from its container. For this, you will be able to consume less with bar soaps.

Meanwhile, use a clean washcloth and replace it regularly. Dirty washcloths will cancel out the liquid soap’s benefits.
