Paper Storage Tips

Whether you’re just starting out, or you have been scrapbooking for a long time, paper storage can be an issue. There are many different ways you can organize and store your paper.

You can stay simple or go big, depending on your needs. A scrapbooking work center is wonderful. It’s helpful in scrapbooking paper storage, along with other materials that you need.

Something as simple as a plastic tub would even work. They also sell specific scrapbooking work centers that will cost you a lot more. Just remember that it doesn’t have to say it’s specifically for scrapbooking to work.

Totes and organizers are another great way to store your paper. They come in a variety of sizes, styles and sometimes even in a variety of colors. Some of these organizers and totes can even double as a work space.

This is particularly useful for the mobile scrapper or someone who has a limited amount of space at home for scrapbooking. You also have a wide price range to choose from, so you’re sure to find something that fits well with your budget, too.

When considering your paper storage needs don’t overlook the usefulness of common items like accordion folders and manila envelopes to assist in organizing your storage space.

Although you may have purchased an organizer or tote you may want to use one or more of these items to cut down on the amount of space you’re using up with paper you use less frequently, too.

After you’ve selected the right storage system for you, it’s time to put it to use. You may want to take out all your different papers, sort them according to use, size, or frequency of use. Whichever method you choose to use, you’ll want to stick to it when putting away new paper purchases in the future.

Once you figured out how you want your paper organized, label them. This will help you keep your paper organized and make it easy for you to find just what you want next time.

A little wise shopping and organization can go a long way in keeping your supplies neat and easy to find. Not only does it keep down the clutter but it helps make your scrapbooking much more enjoyable for you, too.
